In 1961, she won a student's grant which helped her refined her style in Scotland, England and France. Then, she studied fine arts in Quebec city for a year, followed by three and half years of free workshops under Albert Rousseau's direction. During the International Fair in Osaka, she embarked upon an observation trip troughout Japan.
