Biography: Born July 14, 1939 in Montreal.
Education: Graduated in 1959 from the Institute of Graphic Arts. He also studied at the Montreal School of Fine Arts before becoming himself a teacher at this school. In 1960, he worked at the famous Atelier 17 in Paris. He founded the first printmaking studio of its kind in Canada, l'Atelier Libre de Recherche Graphiques in 1963.
